Abstract: In this study, thirteen microsatellite DNA markers were selected to analyze the genomic DNAs of 100 progeny derived from the backcross between Yellow Plumage Chicken A line and B line. Allele frequencies were estimated in term of band presence or absence. Polymorphism information content and heterozygosity were calculated based on allele frequencies. The correlation between markers’ genotypes and some performance traits was discussed in this paper. The correlation analysis showed that some markers were remarkable correlative to birth weight and body weight at 8wk.
