水稻早熟多子房突变体fon5的遗传分析和基因定位

Genetic analysis and gene mapping of an early flowering and multi-ovary mutant in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

摘要: 在水稻中花11的后代中筛选到1例花器官数目突变体, 突变体主要表现为多雄蕊、多子房和早开花。遗传分析表明, 该突变表型受1对隐性核基因控制。因为对花器官数目突变体曾有报道, 如fon1、fon2、fon3fon4, 所以该突变体暂定名为fon5。利用fon5与籼稻品种华粳籼74构建的F2群体对fon5进行基因定位, 发现其与第6染色体上的标记RM400RM412连锁, 遗传距离分别为10.5 cM 和1.6 cM。通过在两标记间发展6个新的Indel标记, 将该基因定位于116 kb区间

Abstract:

Abstract: A rice floral mutant was obtained from a japonica variety Zhonghua 11, which was characterized with the phe-notype of more stamens, more pistils and early flowering. Genetic analysis showed that the mutant phenotype was con-trolled by a single recessive gene, which was designed as floral organ number 5 (fon5). To map fon5, an F2 population was derived from the cross between Huajingxian 74 and fon5 mutant. Gene fon5 was roughly mapped between the microsatellite markers RM400 and RM412 on chromosome 6 with genetic distances of 10.5 and 1.6 cM, respectively. Then, six new po-lymorphic InDel markers were developed in the region. According to the physical information of the markers, locus fon5 was finally delimited to a region of 116 kb.
